Thread: Whirlpool Washer agitates too quickly

Question Whirlpool Washer agitates too quickly

    Model Number: WTW57ESVW1
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: 1-5 years

Our Whirlpool top loading washer goes into the agitate cycle right away without any water going in.
The water seems to be going in to the washer somewhere in the cycle, as the clothes aren't spinning dry at the end of the spin cycle.
What do you think is happening?

The most common part that fails on this model of Whirlpool washer
    is the Temperature Sensor Switch.

    Part # W10248240
(There is no easy way to test this part.)

Also, the timer could be your problem.

    Part # W10177827

    Enjoy your day!
