Which thermal fuse did you replace? What ohm reading are you getting on the thermistor at room temperature?

I went ahead and replaced both the thermal and the thermistor! The thermal was bad and the thermistor was reading 9.4 (80F) when it really should have been a 11.5 (67F). Bought both checked them when I got home everything matched printed specs put them in fingers crossed this problem doesn't come back for another 6 years!

Have you checked to see if the heating element is shorted out? Have you looked to see if there are any airflow restrictions in the dryer or the exhaust vent?
