Cabrio UL ( unbalanced load) every wash

    Model Number: WTW6600SB2
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: 6-10 years

Owned washer since new. Its been getting worse for the past few months. Every load is unbalanced and stops the cycle. The tub does wobble a bit from the out tub, but is not noisey as others have described bad bearings. Read somewhere that the suspension rods might need to be replaced, they are in tact, not sure what would go bad on these.

Does it seem noisier than normal during the spin cycle?

Hello, The washer makes no unusaual noises, spins freely. It is leveled. Without clothes we do not get the UL alarm, buy with any size load we do now. I am not sure if this is normal, but on an empty load, the spin cycle will stop at least five times to try to pump any remaining water out. I called Whirlpool and my washer does not have a recall on the bearings or suspension rods. Its still a nice washer, I would like to fix it if possilbe.

I had the same problem on mine. I replaced the suspension rods and problem solved. I really didn't see a problem with the rods, but I can't argue with the result. I guess maybe the spring tension is just a little weaker on the old rods. I suggest you try the rods, they are easy to replace.
