    Replaced evaporator fan motor & still won't run

    Model Number: FRS6HR35KB0
    Brand: Frigidaire
    Age: 1-5 years

    I replaced my evaporator fan motor in my Frigidaire refrigerator because it wasn't running.
    It is cold on the coils, but still nothing. Can you guys help me on this?

    If you replaced the evaporator fan motor and it still isn't working, then you probably have a bad adaptive defrost control (ADC) board. The defrost control board sends power to the evaporator fan motor, and when it fails it can cause the evaporator fan motor not to run at all. The control board has been updated a few times, so the newest version includes a wire harness that has to be replaced along with the control board.
