Hi folks!
Saw that you guys were able to help a bunch of other folks so I figured I would give it a shot.
My GE Ice maker seems to be on the fritz or maybe a fill valve. I have done the diagnostic test where I:
1. Tape the door light switch down.
2. Observe the LED light (it was on and not blinking)
3. Turned off the switch, waited 15 seconds.
4. Turned the switch on and pushed the paddle back 3 times in less than 6 seconds.
5. Waited
Results were that nothing happened. I inspected the reservoir and noticed that there was no water, no ice in it. I am thinking that there may be an issue with the fill valve. I replace the filter every time the filter light comes on, and the water dispenser on the door works fine. So now I am not so sure it is the valve.
Anyone have any suggestions?
