My Frig willnot kik on. I checked the temp control with an ohm meter does not read any way u turn it on. could this be the problem?

I think you meant TDX11SNYAWH for the model number?

To check the cold control thermostat, you will need to do a continuity check. The thermostat should have continuity when turned to the "on" position. On most refrigerators, when the cold control is bad, none of the fans will run and the compressor won't turn on.
