    Samsung DV337AEW/XAA stops working

    Model Number: DV337AEW/XAA
    Brand: Samsung
    Age: 6-10 years

    Hi,

My Samsung dryer DV337AEW/XAA (electric) stops mid-cycle, no error codes displayed. After waiting for maybe 15-20 mins, it works again. I opened it from the back and tried to clean out any lint inside to my best, but reaching all the way to the front from the back of it is difficult. If there are a couple of parts I can replace to see if it fixes the problem, that would be great. I see in other posts that a Thermistor is the most likely cause of it. Is there a specific one I need for this model? What is the best way to access it for replacing it?

    Many thanks
    AC

Your problem is most likely not related to the thermistor. Does the dryer turn off when it stops working, and it won't power back up for 15-20 mins?

Yes, it stops, abruptly, we wait for maybe 15-20 mins and it starts.

When the dryer runs, shuts off, and won't turn back on you will need to check to see if the power is receiving power from the outlet. Sometimes a bad outlet connection or cord connection at the dryer can make the dryer act up like this. If the dryer is receiving power correctly, then you could have a bad control board causing the problem. There are two control boards on this dryer, the main control board and the user interface control board. The most common control board to go bad is the main control board. Let me know what you find.

    Main Control Board - Part # PD00002079 (mfg# MFS-DV327L-00)

    User Interface Control Board - Part # PD00006263 (mfg # MFS-DV327L-S0)
