Control board & Ice maker kit for GE refrigerator

    Model Number: PFSS6PKWASS
    Brand: GE
    Age: 1-5 years

Hello! I have installed the control board and ice maker. I noticed on the control board everything was exact but the blue connector on the upper right corner of your picture. There is not one on the old board and no extra for wire. The light is not working in the refrig after the install. The light for the freezer is working. Still waiting on the ice maker. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the control board you received might be defective if all of the functions are working correctly except the lights inside. I would double check all of the connections. If that doesn't take care of the problem, then we can do a warranty exchange for you.

Wow! Thanks for the FAST reply. I have double checked the connections and all looks good. What is the blue connector on the upper right cornor showed in your picture? All the other connectors fit great. Thanks again for all your help!

I am not sure what function the blue connector in the upper right corner serves. One last thing you can try, would be to plug the old control board back in to make sure the lights still work with that control board.
