I have been having various issues with the ice maker on my Samsung 4-door Refrigerator (RF28HMEDBSR/AA-11), and the Parts Dr repair videos have been a great help. I have sealed up the air gaps and installed the two y-clips and that greatly helped the issues I was having with the icing/freezing-over of the ice maker.

Ice maker is still working great, but the auger motor no longer activates from the door. The ice chute door opens and chilled water still dispenses properly, so I believe everything up front is OK.

I purchased a DA97-12540G to replace my existing DA97-12540A auger motor assembly. After I performed all the defrosting and replaced the unit, the auger motor still does not activate. I thought I might have received a bad part, but after trying a second unit it still does not work/activate. I have double-checked the connections inside the ice-maker area, and they all feel solid.

Any suggestions on what to troubleshoot next?
