Ice Maker not making ice

My ice maker stopped working about a year ago. About a week ago, it made 5 or 6 cubes so I decided to investigate/fix it finally. Water dispenser has always worked fine.

After googling: I did the continuity test on the inlet valves. Both work. (presumably one for water filter and the other for ice-maker).
I also checked to see if the line(s) were blocked. All ok. (I actually blew air into each, and felt it coming out at the water and ice-maker).
Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

My freezer status led is flashing twice and then repeats, which means optical error. But I ran the full optics diagnostic (jumpered T & H) and everything works except no water was filled - could that be because I did not stop the jumpering before the notch reached 10o'clock position? Anywho, I'm stumped!

Any, any advice???
