I am trying to figure out if the power inverter board is bad and needs replacing or if it is actually the compressor.
In samsung service manual and in several videos, shows checking voltage on pins 1 & 3 (Inverter PBS CN103) for 2-3VDC. My currently installed part is DA41-00822B.
I've set the fridge/freezer into forced option FF and then checked voltage on the pins 1&3 and it is not between 2-3VDC. it seem to be a rolling wave of some kind. Older radioshack meter shows a range of microvolts.
I'm here because no cooling. The led on this board shows 4 blinks which indicates motor locked / over RPM and front display shows 84 c which means F Comp motor constraint error.
I considered ordering the DA92-00763B that matches but don't want to a working board.
Samsung RF28K9380SR/AA-02 about 4+ years old.
No visible issues with caps or other components or traces on the invertor board.
compressor coils test ok. pins 1-2, 1-3, 2-3 all at ~ 8.3 ohms
compressor overload tests ok
