    KitchenAid KSRS25RVMK03 refrigerator run time

    Model Number: KSRS25RVMK03
    Brand: KitchenAid
    Age: More than 10 years

This refrigerator is 11 years old. Typically it seems to run 20-25 minutes on then off. But occasionally it will run for over an hour then off for a few minutes then on again for an hour or more. I don’t feel any air flowing at the bottom front of the unit. If I unplug the unit for 15 minutes it seems to go back to the normal cycle time. Now I feel air flow at the bottom of the unit. Both freezer and refrigerator are cool as expected. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? When I search this topic on google a list of 6 or 7 items shows up. Just trying to figure out the mostly likely issue without incurring lots of cost. Is it possible the condenser fan motor is bad and running intermittently? Or would a control board be the cause of this air flow that I’m describing? Any insight is appreciated.

Update - it appears the condenser fan motor is shutting off with the compressor. So possible a thermostat or control board?
