Original icemaker stopped making ice a few months ago. Went through the standard 'try this first' stuff. No filter in the fridge to change, nothing wrong with shut off bar, confirmed water line/pressure is fine, confirmed water goes into the ice models, etc. After trying so many things I just opted to buy a new icemaker.

New icemaker is installed, I can hear the water run into the tray, then nothing overnight. No reset switch on the ice maker so I did a hard reset by unplugging the fridge for a few minutes. This seemed to work, after a long while we finally got a batch of ice, but nothing since then. First thoughts are that it's either the motor or the temperature gauge or the heater, but I can't understand how that stuff still isn't working with a brand-new icemaker. Any thoughts on what to try next?
