    Chugging Ice Maker - Samsung

    Model Number: RFG297AA
    Brand: Samsung
    Age: More than 10 years

    The ice maker (Ice Maker Assembly DA97-05422A) in my Samsung fridge makes a chugging sound for about 3 minutes before the water refills the ice tray. The fridge is older, but the icemaker is new as of Aug 2021. The chugging is even, rhythmic and continuous prior to the water turning on. Any thoughts?
