    Loud squeaking during spin cycle

    Model Number: LSQ7533JQ1
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: More than 10 years

    Our top loading Whirlpool recently started making a loud squeaking/rubbing noise during the spin cycle. I checked to see if the load was out of balance and everything was fine. When I held the agitator the noise stopped. I removed the agitator and everything looked fine. Is there a bushing on the drum that might be causing the issue?
