our crosley gas dryer runs fine for the first load. when trying to start a second load and setting the timer and pushing in the knob, there is a loud electrical humming noise like the motor wants to start but doesn't. usually it would be ok after a while but now it won't start at all. a few years ago, i replaced the roller wheels & bearings, a new belt & blower wheel & shop vacced all the crud out from underneath & near the motor. i also replaced the lint screen and housing. any suggestions? possibble timer? thermal fuse?
now that i am home from work i took it apart, quite a bit of lint so i vacuumed it all out. i tested the sensor at the blower housing and have continuity, same for the two at the upper rear left. there is something that looks like it could be a fuse on a metal type hook attached to the motor. that also has continuity. am i missing something? i could not find a thermal fuse that looks like the white plastic ones for sale on parts websites.
