    [FIXED] Samsung dryer no heat

    Model Number: Dv350aep/xec
    Brand: Samsung
    Age: 10 years old

Checked the heating element with a volt meter while running, voltage is supplied to both top and bottom contacts and reads 120V each, ground is good fuse and thermostat test good, same voltage there too.
Out of frustration tested the entire heating element assembly with sensors on another Samsung dryer and it works fine there.
Put it back in the 1st dryer and no heat, I can hear the solenoids click as the dryer goes through its cycle in sensor dry and timed dry.
    What am I missing?

The model number that you provided is not valid. Have you check to see if the dryer is receiving 240V?

Where are you touching the probes to when doing the voltage tests?

OK, I do not get 240V across the two coil contacts.
Disconnected the two power wires and found that the blue wire works, 120V but the shorter red wire has no voltage.
    ......
Found a bad contact on the motor switch.
    SOLVED!

Thanks for the update. Did you have to replace the motor to fix it?

    Nope, just replaced the contact
On another topic, there is a 3 second delay when you hit the start button before the dryer starts up, hit it again no delay to pause it
