Should the Whirlpool vent assembly WPW10164259 have continuity between the two pins when the assembly is removed from the dishwasher? Want to ensure mine is bad before ordering a new one.

Hi Don,

The wax motor on the vent assembly should measure 600-1800 ohms. That value is too high to register on a continuity test, you will need to have your multimeter set to measure ohms to test it.
