Disposal End of life - need a replacement

So far, this place has been SO RIGHT about everything. I just LOVE a good forum!!
My disposal is nearing EOL. 20 yrs old - gets used hard - no shame in it. It has been throwing a breaker occasionally and now it won't spin. I've had to use a socket wrench a few times to get it away from a bad spot on the motor. Now, it's just tired and won't spin. It just hums - poor thing...
I'd rather replace it than repair it.

It is a Kitchenaid KCDC250K and no longer produced.

What would be the easy, bolt right in, no extra wires or tubes to replace it with?

Thanks for any help - I know it will be the correct answer. - as usual.

20 years is excellent! Look at the price of that original one!

Yes, it sounds like internally the seals are shot and water is leaking onto the motor windings and shorting out.

KitchenAid doesn't have an exact replacement for the model, but here is the most similar model I could find. Most of the connections should be very similar to the original, but you will usually need to swap out the parts with the new ones included in the kit.

Here is a replacement video to give you an idea of the process:
