    GE front load washer h2o supply error code

    Brand: GE
    Age: 1-5 years

    GE washer starts washing then gives h20 supply error code before finishing cycle.

    Washer screen says h2o supply.

    The H2O Supply error code would indicate that water is not entering the washer. If the water supply to the washer is good, it is usually caused by a bad water inlet valve. The water inlet valve for this model washer has multiple solenoids on it that are electronically controlled to open and close, which control the water flow into the washer. If one of these solenoids fails, the washer will not fill with water when it is supposed to and the washer will display the H2O Supply error. Let me know what you find.

    Yes that's what I thought as well. Replaced water inlet valve and still same outcome.

    That's too bad. Did you replace the part with a new GE part? Have you verified that the water supply from the house to the washer is good? Are you using washer fill hoses with a burst valve in them?

    Yes we have braided stainless steel hose on them.

    I am referring to something different. If you turn off the water to the washer from the wall, and remove the hoses from the back of the washer and then turn them back on and spray the water into a bucket, do you have good water flow?
