Samsung Dryer keeps running with heat

Our Samsung dryer keeps running with heat long after it should stop. It typically remains fixed at the 1 minute mark left on the timer and just keeps running until I manually shut it off with the power switch on the dryer panel. My research pointed me to the Main Control Board, so I replaced it. After installing the new control board, the same problem has occurred. Can anyone direct me to a solution to this issue? Does the dryer heat up if you run it on an air dry (no heat) cycle?

Yes. I just tested the "air fluff" cycle for about 10 minutes and it was fairly hot.
