[FIXED] LG Kenmore Dyer Has Power But Won't Start

Just wanted to share. My 9 year of Kenmore Elite dryer, made by LG, had power but wouldn't start.
Called a local appliance service to look at it. He tried a jumper wire to bypass a thermostat.
When that didn't work he says it's probably the control board. He orders one and that didn't work.
So now he takes the dryer apart and still can't figure out what's wrong.

One thing that drove me crazy was he never once used a flashlight to help see.
Anyway he puts it back together and says he doesn't know what's wrong with it and charges me $95.

So now I know what's not wrong with it, so I tear it apart and with a flashlight, I found a burnt wire at the motor that completely burnt away from the crimped connector. Stripped the the end of the wire and crimped on a new connector and dryer's working great. Moral of the story, use a flashlight. You can see more stuff.
