[FIXED] GE Profile Range Inner Element out of 3 is not working

Hello,
I have a GE Profile Series 30". The Triple Haliant's inner element suddenly stopped working, although the touch panel and the other 2 elements on the same burner work fine.
I have mistakenly ordered a new element, but turned out that it has the same issue, and mine was fine after doing the Ohm test (continuity test was misleading).
Now I'm lost at how to proceed and where/how to test. I read somewhere that next issue could be the Control Panel, but how can I test mine before ordering a new part?

This probably is commonly caused by a failure of the control board linked below. If you read the repair stories further down on the page, there a a couple of people that describe the same problem as you. Let me know how the repair goes for you.

Excellent, thanks for confirming. Yeah I'm reading the same story as mine.
I was hoping I can do some basic tests before I order the part as I'm no electrician, but I do have a voltmeter.

I would be very certain that this control board is the cause of the problem. If all of the wiring is good then there isn't much else that could cause it to act like this.
