Whirlpool LER7646EZ2. Auto dry not shutting off.

    Model Number: LER7646EZ2
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: More than 10 years

My Whirlpool auto dry is not shutting off. Timer mode works fine. I've actually replaced this switch and the cycling thermostat. Now I'm at a dead end any ideas?
    Thank you

Is the dryer heating up normally? A failure in the heating circuit can cause it to act this way?

Also, test the timer as we show here:
