My Whirlpool auto dry is not shutting off. Timer mode works fine. I've actually replaced this switch and the cycling thermostat. Now I'm at a dead end any ideas?

Is the dryer heating up normally? A failure in the heating circuit can cause it to act this way?
Also, test the timer as we show here:
