    Samsung Flex Zone Ice Maker

    Model Number: RF28K9380SR/AA
    Brand: Samsung
    Age: 6-10 years

I have a Samsung Flex Zone refrigerator that needs to have the ice maker replaced. I watched Ryan's video and understand the process but the buttons he says to depress for the forced defrost and to turn the unit off do not exist on my unit. The manual was useless and offered no help. (Sorry, can't attach a photo of the control panel because of morning sunlight glare!) Are these steps even important? I can just unplug the unit and I don't see evidence of frost. Can someone please help me?

You shouldn't need to worry about putting the refrigerator into Forced Defrost for the flex zone ice maker. Let me know how the repair goes for you!
