[FIXED] whirlpool dryer quite while it was running

Hello. My dryer just quite shortly after starting it. I cannot get any sounds out of it. The light has not been working for a while, so I cannot easily tell if there is power to the unit, but I switched the breakers off and on and it did not help. Any ideas what it might be, or what I might look for? It is a 20 year old dryer... is it even worth fixing? Thanks in advance for any help!

I always start by verifying that the power supply to the dryer is good. Then, I would check the door switch and thermal fuses. See the videos below. Let me know what you find.

I found the problem! It was the door switch. Easy and cheap fix. Thanks to everyone for your help.
