    Jenn-air double oven error F6E6

    Model Number: JJW3830LL
    Brand: Jenn-Air
    Age: 6-10 years

Hi, new here. We have a double in wall oven. A couple of times the display showed this error and said the oven could not be used. I would turn off the breaker for a minute and then back on and it solved it. Yesterday this happened but it would not solve it. Left it off all night, turned it back on and still get the message. Tried to google it and at one point found it could be the oven manager. Not sure what that is. Any ideas out there?

    Thanks

It's strange because that error code doesn't show up in the service information for your model number. According to Jenn Air the F6 E6 Error Code means:

There may be a problem with the Upper Oven Appliance Manager Control or the associated wiring.

    • Power unit down by turning off the circuit breaker(s) for one (1) minute.
    • Power unit up by turning on the circuit breaker(s).
    • Monitor the oven for one (1) minute to ensure the error code does not display again.
    • Verify oven operation.

That part is wrong. I am hopefully uploading photos. My oven has two large pc's like the one you put but are a different #W10292566 and the small one between them is #10286791. What do you all think?

Thank you for sending that over. Can you please upload a photo of the model and serial number tag from the oven?

It might be on the pieces you have removed? It's hard to tell from your photo.

Great! I'm glad you were able to locate it. It looks like the model number on the tag is JJW3830WS02, which is different from the one originally provided. For this model, the Appliance Manager is part # W10292566, but unfortunately, it has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

You may be able to find a used one or work with a company that refurbishes control boards to repair your existing part. Based on the parts list for this model, it appears there is only one Appliance Manager part number, so it's likely the same for both versions.

Also, the error code you're seeing isn't listed in the service information for this model.

Thanks. What's confusing is that there are two boards with that number, which are the big boards on either side of that small center one. I figured one was for upper and one for lower. So what's the board in the middle if the other two are appliance managers? And would it be the one for the upper which I think is the one with the most wires, but I haven't scoped it out. That would be the one on the right side

The other board is the power supply control board.

I may be crazy but I don't see that small board in the diagram. I'm just trying to make sure we're talking about the same thing and whether it needs the appliance control board or the power control board
